Human-Hunter-Monster-Cannibal is a gothic card game of social manoeuvring and survival.

Players take turns over two phases as the will of the people and the Monsters that stalk them, vying to create a village that will survive -- and thrive -- the prophesied cataclysm. The goal is to gather the Village you want before the Festival ends, the Cannibal strikes... and Darkness Falls.

The Game

Spend the first phase preparing your Village for the coming darkness! Gather Humans; avoid Monsters or cast them out; complete Occult rituals.

The Cannibal's arrival launches the second phase. As Darkness Falls, special abilities activate, Monsters congregate, and hunt the humans they prefer.

With all Monsters sated, your Village scores points based on the number of different Humans that remain. Will the Cannibal survive? Will your plans succeed? Only your actions can help your Village thrive in the aftermath!

There is no box, but here's what you pay for!

• 20-page full-colour rulebook designed to be printed at home
• Original and alternate art for the Cursed Token

Every card is designed to be high contrast, colourblind-friendly; blacks and whites are inverted from the originals to be easier on your ink expenditure. (Large blocks of black were leeched to greys, too.)

The printer-friendly version is designed to be printed at home on A4- or Letter-sized white sheets with cutting lines printed around each card.

There is no box; there is also no Speaker token. Any piece from your Chess set works well as a substitute. (Giles' favourite is the Rook.)
